1816 Baymiller St, West End
Three-family
DOB: 1890
Died: May 2008
Cause of death: A bulging front wall, threatening to collapse onto Baymiller Street. A crack on the front wall continued to expand and started spilling bricks. The windows had also broken out, allowing water to get inside and damage the structure. The building was condemned in September 2006. The out-of-town (but local) owner failed to attend any hearings. It was declared a public nuisance in April 2007 and razed by the City. This building was within the Dayton Street National Register Historic District.
