After their real estate listings expired, seven of the eight Cross Hill Landominiums have been re-listed - now at a lower price.
The seven remaining units at 3301-3315 Harvey Avenue (BIRD'S EYE) in Avondale have been cut to between $179,900 and $199,900, a reduction of up to 11 percent from where they were listed just eight months ago.
In total, the eight units have spent 5,042 days on the market, an average of 630 days apiece.
Only one unit - 3305 Harvey Avenue - has been purchased, sold in 2007 for $191,900.
The attached housing, developed by Avondale resident Marcus Cross, includes three bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 baths within nearly 2,000 square feet.
They are also subject to a 15-year City tax abatement and require no homeowners association fees.
With all of the reinvestment occurring along the Burnet and Harvey avenue corridors, these properties might be expected to hold - if not significantly gain - value.
So why aren't they selling?
