On April 26, the lower Northside business district was buzzing with activity, as volunteers painted a dozen building façades, parking meters, poles and bike racks.
The effort was part of the nationwide Great American Cleanup and included representatives from the neighborhood, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, Give Back Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Parks Department.
The Northside event was one of 92 held throughout Greater Cincinnati, involving more than 6,000 volunteers.
