Northern Kentucky residents will be able to view proposed changes to the OKI 2030 Regional Transportation Plan at a pair of open houses this week.
The open houses will be held from 4 PM-7 PM on the following dates:
* March 18 at the Cold Spring Fire Station, 4113 Alexandria Pike in Cold Spring
* March 19 at the Crestview Hills City Building, 50 Crestview Hills Mall Road in Crestview Hills
The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) is seeking public input on its proposed update to the plan, which is a long-range document that includes funding recommendations for the allocation of more than $7 billion for road, transit, freight and bicycle/pedestrian projects in the eight-county region.
OKI plans to hold a final hearing in May, and will submit the update to federal highway and transit administrations in June.
The OKI 2030 Regional Transportation plan, which was adopted in 2004, is updated every four years.
