Hamilton County to host OKI 2030 open house

The second round of public open houses for the OKI 2030 Regional Transportation Plan will be held Wednesday from 4 PM-7 PM at the Wyoming Civic Center, 1 Worthington Avenue.

The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) is seeking public input on its proposed update to the plan, which is a long-range document that includes funding recommendations for the allocation of more than $7 billion for road, transit, freight and bicycle/pedestrian projects in the eight-county region.

OKI plans to hold a final hearing in May, and will submit the update to federal highway and transit administrations in June.

The OKI 2030 Regional Transportation plan, which was adopted in 2004, is updated every four years.

Open houses will be held in Campbell County next Tuesday and in Kenton County next Wednesday.
