A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the opening of the new Anderson Center on Friday at 10:30 AM, 7850 Five Mile Road.
The public ceremony will feature building tours and light refreshments.
The Anderson Township trustees and several of the township's departments have already moved into the building, but parts of it remain unfinished.
The 54,000-square-foot complex will eventually include township offices, a performing arts center, an emergency operations center, a large community meeting room and space for the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce.
The $17 million project officially opens on March 15.
