A special exhibit featuring a look at Cincinnati's Modern architecture will be on display at the 20th Century Cincinnati Show and Sale of Modern Design, this weekend at the Sharonville Convention Center.
Cincinnati Form Follows Function (CF3) has assembled a collection of images and artifacts by such notable national and local architects as Frank Lloyd Wright, George Nelson, Abe Dombar, Woodie Garber, Ray Roush and Carl Strauss.
20th Century Cincinnati is an annual assembly of dealers from throughout the country offering period decorative pieces such as art glass, pottery, paintings and fashion items in the Art Deco, Streamline, Futuristic, Mid-Century Modern and Op/Pop styles.
The show runs from 11 AM to 5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, with two-day tickets priced at $7 for adults.
CF3 is a non-profit whose mission is "to promote, preserve, educate, document, enjoy, and raise awareness of Modern Design in and around Cincinnati.
The special exhibit is being sponsored by Susan Rissover of Huff Realty, who specializes in Modern homes.
